Orchestra-1
Made immediately after the lifting of lockdown, this work channels music as salvation during the COVID period. Many of the marks on the objects were made to the rhythm of songs that offered escape from the drudgery of the time. Orchestra-1 began as an ambitious concept — one object for every instrument in a symphony — but ultimately ended when the concept no longer resonated. Two of the larger pieces in this collection were exhibited at the Sapling Galley, London.
