Artist statement *

A human hand covered in white clay with fingers curled, set against a gray, textured surface with scattered clay pieces.

Through narratives, my work explores power dynamics between individuals, groups, and governing systems.

I use both thrown and hand-built techniques to highlight control and agency of a solo maker. Intent on emphasising the relevance of craftsmanship in an age of mass production.
